Outlook not responding with Error Message - "Microsoft.crm.application.outlook.webformshost has stopped working."

While Working with the Outlook plug-in for CRM there are cases the plug-in interferes with other plug-ins running within outlook and this sometimes causes the outlook to freeze. Below are the steps which resolve your issue:

1.Delete the cache and cookies : Tools→ Internet option → General  →delete →check all the check-boxes →delete
2.Delete Internet temp files : Tools→ Internet option → General →settings →  View files →delete
3.Clear the CRM credentials by going to control panel  → Credential manager → (delete all credential starting with Microsoft)
4.Check the Time Zone and Time as per the Location
5. Add the trusted sites : Tools→ Internet option → Security →Trusted sites →sites →
https://*.dynamics.com  , https://*.login.microsoftonlline.com ,https://*.microsoft.com
6.Go to Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet options - Connections Tab - Lan Settings – select Automatic detect settings and removed tick mark from Use Proxy Server from your lan – ok
7.Can go to Start, Diagnostics - Advanced Troubleshooting –Enabled Trace - Deleted Temporary MSCRM Client files - Enable MSCRM  for Outlook Add-in.
8.Uninstall the CRM for outlook Client  from Control panel :- → Program and features → select the CRM for outlook Client version 2903 → Uninstall
9.Uninstall the SQL server compact edition  4.0 and 3.5:- → Program and features → sql server compact edition  4.0 and 3.5
10.Disable windows updates:- Control Panel → Windows updates :- Left Navigation Panel Change Settings → Uncheck all and disable the updates .
11.Close all running applications on the workstation, including Internet Explorer and Outlook
12.Uninstall the CRM 2016 Client for Outlook through Control Panel -> Programs and Features
13.Navigate to %PROGRAMFILES%\ and delete the “Microsoft Dynamics CRM” folder if it still exists
14.Navigate to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\ and delete the “MSCRM” folder if it still exists
15. Navigate to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\ and delete the “MSCRM” folder if it still exists
16. Go to Start -> Run and type “regedit”, then hit OK
17. Right-Click on “Computer” and select Export to save a backup copy of the registry to a location of your choice
18. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft and/or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft and delete any keys with MSCRM in the title if they exist
19. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft and/or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft and delete any keys with MSCRM in the title if they exist
20. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\ and/or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\ and delete the crmaddin.Addin key if it still exists
21.Reboot the machine
25.Configure the client for your CRM organisation via Start -> Programs -> Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016-> Configuration Wizard.

* Always remember to take a back-up of the registry before making any changes.
